Faithful son of Lehi and Sariah, believed in the word of God, became a prophet, kept records, and lead of his people.
- Prayed regularly; sought to understand his father’s teachings and visions
- Consistently did what he believed was right and what God wanted him to do
- Returned to Jerusalem twice (once to obtain the sacred records, once to bring Ishmael’s family and find wives for his he and his brothers)
- Was instrumental in helping his family make it through the wilderness, building a boat and bringing his family to the New World
